Sanyo VCP-S1085P need a disk and cord to download to my computer. Where can I purchase these items from?

If you mean the Sanyo VPC-S885 digital camera, that is a USB 2.0 A to USB mini-B 5 pin cable. Amazon has several replacement cables; one of which is here: https://www.amazon.com/Antoble-VPC-S885-VPC-S885p-VPC-CA200-Camera/dp/B01EV5KN7E .

Did you record on a disk or on tape? When you purchased this product, were you able to download the software for this camera? Did it come with a USB cord?

If you are using a disk, just take the disk out and put it into the computer and look for that drive thru the "My Computer" icon.. From here it lists all the places that you can connect items to your computer along with the hard drives. It will usually show up in a slot that is labeled with a letter higher than F.

Once you find this open it and it should show your files, then you can select the files to be copied or moved to a file on your hard drive, i.e. My Photo's.

If you video taped and you want to download the images, you have to make sure that you have installed the software that came with the camera, and then attach the USB cord, and the computer will recognize it and then you can go from there..

Yes, I get red flashing too occasionally.
turn the power off and on using the button under the screen.

reformat the card either via a computer of if possible via the camera menu item.

Remove and re-insert the card.

purchase a new and faster SD card.

Well, There is an extra cord that connects to the computer and the camera, I don't know the exact name of this But If you have this and are needing help with that, a pop up from your computer should come up saying "Input device" and you should be able to do it there easily.
