Question about Tappan TGF320 Gas Kitchen Range
You need to check the temperature sensor. You need to open the temperature sensor (RTD). Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Based off the information you have been able to provide an "F31" error code stands for a shorted probe connection. Typically this means you could have issue with the RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor probe or the wiring harness between your control panel and probe connector. Since it could be any one of these under lying issues I would recommend a professional come out and properly repair your appliance. Hope this helps. -Matt
