We have a mongoose 74 we need a battery charger

Power Wheels Toddler 6 Volt Rechargeable Replacement Battery all 6 volt batterys will do the job just make sure you get a battery and a charging system together and you may need to split the wires and use electrical tape from the new battery to the old battery system wires

I have 6v chargers with alligator clips on the end that work, you'll just have to remove the plastic battery cover (6 screws) so that you can clip it onto the battery

first of all check for at least 6 volts from the battery and the charger, you can test this using a multimeter

you can have the battery tested for its voltage with an voltage meter and see if it is giving enough output for its purpose, but from the sounds of what you are saying it seems the battery isnt holding enough to power the scooter

Mongoose are having Issues with the new generation M60 Series. If your M60 has the 3 button remote then it is the new model. You will need to get a replacement from Mongoose under warranty.
