Question about Heating & Cooling
Your concern: "...gets hot for 2 minutes but then turns cold..."Two possible reasons based on a generic condition:
1. Your thermostat is defective, cuts off early and does not re-engage to maintain desired temperature;
2. some other sensor is overriding the heat level setting and shuts the unit off.
As ohms has posted, the make and model would help narrowing down possible defects/problems.
