Hi The first lyra I bought stopped being recognized by my computer shortly after I added songs to it. 1 year later I purchased another and it worked fine. I decided to try the first one again and it was recognized. Then all of a sudden neither one was recognized. It came with the "MUSICMATCH JUKE" however, a pop up appears stating that it is no longer available and to go to yahoo but they have the same pop up. I have looked into updates for the drivers but they are not available for these 2 devices. Could you be of any help with this problem thanks discouraged with lyras kathy

Iv had my Lyra RD 1090 for least 6 years now with no problems at all..Why because i never use the software that came with it..What i do is just plug it into a USB port and it comes up in my File MY COMPUTER as a drive you just open it up and fill it..Or if you have a card reader on you PC just take the card out the the Lyra and put it in the reader then fill the card with music then put the card back into your Ltra then your good to go
My Lyra does the exact same thing...what i do is i pull the batteries out for a second and the unfreezes the device...then i delete the song that froze my device....then i reload the song..if it freezes again delete that song from ur computer them find a better music provider because most likely the song was corruped

Suggestion! When you have the RCA Lyra connected to your computer, right click on Start - go to Explore. Then find the RCA device (drive letter). Double click on it. The songs will display. SINGLE - Click on a song that you want to delete. Right click on it. Choose Delete - and it's gone. (I have just removed some of my songs the other day!) Good luck!
