Hey, the computer comes with a trial of office, if you wish to use it, you must buy it separetely.

you can install your old microsoft works and it will work, you get the product key in the box of the product when you buy it.

but go ahead and use the old microsoft works instead.

What kind of documents are you talking about?

  • Ekse Nov 06, 2010

Hello What documents are you trying to open? Microsoft works will not open all of your documents it depends entirely on what documents you got, if you made documents with office 2007 then you can view them with a free office2007 viewer or purchase the program to be able to continue using it.

Okay - but whats the problem? can't you open them with microsoft works? what kind of files are they? If they where made with office 2007 then you need office program to edit them.

you can get a free program to view your documets from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo...

they allow you to view and print your document.

but if you must edit your documents you need to purchase the lisence or product key to your office 2007

you must go to a local shop or buy the product online to get the product key

Yes 2010 will work, you will need to uninstall 2007 and then install 2010, or maybe it will upgrade it.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!
