There are three screws under the plate beneath the door. Remove these three screws and remove panel. Immediately you will see a removeable plug about 2 1/2" in diameter made of white plastic. This is where your problem lies (or at least one of them). CAUTION - before you remove this plug, put a bucket under it because water will come out. After you unscrew the plug completely, pull it out toward you. You will no doubt find many items that washed out of your cloths. I found legos and coins tangles up with strigs and lint. The entire area was completely plugged. The coins were probably the source af the stains we had on our cloths as they were all black from the water and soap.
The pump on mine burned out and I am trying to replace it. Then I will sell this junker.
I hope this helps some of you. Please advise.

Removing the lower front panel (3 screws nearest floor), and opening the round, white water pump filter cap (be ready to catch about 2 gallons of water!) is the best place to start. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a large, flat pan (deep turkey tray works well)!
YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE what I found in my filter housing this morning (see photo below)!
The washer is working fine now, although I may go back and remove the entire water pump so it can be dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, and reinstalled.

It's a bad wax motor inside the door latch. The diagnostics are buggy and do not test it properly. It should measure about 1.5K ohms, and when 120 VAC is applied to it, it should extend in about a minute. Part number 12002535 is $10 to $15.
