Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

What should i buy ? Lense or Flash for DSLR?

I would say it depends on the type of photography you intend to do.

Obviously, you're going to need at least one lens, whereas you can take photos without a flash at all. If you're doing landscape photography during the day, you won't have much need for a flash. If you're doing studio photography, you're going to need a flash or other source of light.

What kind of digital camera do i get

What kind would you like to get? Cameras vary widely in size, weight, features, capabilities, ease-of-learning, ease-of-use, and, of course, cost. The best digital camera for one person is very unlikely to be the best camera for another person.

Visit your local library or bookstore. There are plenty of introductory books that discuss camera types and the trade-offs they offer.

Kodak Easyshare Z8612 IS Digital Camera The audio in the videos is very loud and distorted

How close was the person to the camera who was talking? Was it a concert or a loud event?
Also, the main purpose of this camera is photography, so, the audio won't be perfect, but you should still have an audio.

How does the light affect to the picture? Rules or

Photography is the process of making pictures (graph) using light (photo)...
Light takes the most important role on produce nice pictures

There`re no fixed rules about photography, it`s an art so nobody have rights to say that the photo is good or bad...

During rainy day, you should prepare camera`s water-proof jacket or an umbrella to protect it against water. Some expensive cameras have been equipped with water-proof material.

The instructions for my new ES28 digital camera seem a little too vague for a technophobe like me. Would it be possible to send me a more in depth set of instructions? Some form of idiot proof instructions...

Your best bet would be to browse your local library or bookstore among the photography books. What seems best for one person is not necessary the best for you, so you're the best person to judge what is best.

D60

Assuming you are in the United States, Wolf Camera has locations across the country and offers group classes at reasonable rates but will be more than happy to offer private fee based lessons on digital photography and specifically on operating your D60 and any other camera they sell in scenario based lessons of portrait, action / sport, nature, etc.

If you pay for private lessons you can write your own curriculum and at your pace since prices will be hourly. If your objectives are beyond their expertise, they'll refer you to local photographers who they feel are qualified to provide the level of instruction and expertise you seek.

We took the classroom training then was referred to a local photographer who wasn't a Wolf employee and for three private lessons to learn how to use our Nikon D80 and it was some of the best money spent.

Good book for a beginner?

have you set it to macro mode? (little flower icon on the right cursor) this function will allow you to get within about 2cm of the subject, however do not use the zoom as the lens cannot focus close enough. To get results any closer you will be looking at an slr and a budget on a few thousand! If enabling macro and not using zoom to allow the lens to focus doesn't get you close enough in you can always enlarge and crop images. have a look on www.picture-skew.blogspot.com i've taken some macros of flowers and bugs, this camera can capture the hairs on an ants back or the individual lenses of a flys compound lens eye.

persevere with this camera, for a very small budget you will get amazing results, ISO refers to the speed of 'film', it comes from the dark old ages of 35mm film cameras. Basically a low ISO is the lowest sensitivity to light and gives the best image quality, however as the ccd is less responsive to the light the camera holds the shutter open for longer. The higher the ISO the more sensitive the ccd but the greater the noise and lower the quality of picture.

Books, try looking for more photography orientated books and less digital camera based books. An upto date photography book will tell you all the technical information about how to take a good picture for any given senario.

if you would like any further advice email me (address on the blogspot)

You need to read up or get lessons to learn manual photography. Search 'free beginners photography lessons' on Google and try to find a website which you like, as there are many with lot of great content. Essentially, you would need to learn and practice one manual feature at a time and slowly add more as you get comfortable with the earlier ones. Some of the main manual features are aperture, shutter speed, focus and metering. Start where you are comfortable. Regards Virdi
