Question about Medion md40298 Notebook
Some laptops have a special button for that ...take a look if you see some buttons in front of the edge ..and see the wifi symbol ..after press it look if any leds are on for wireless
Another thing you should check if the driver for the wireless card is installed and it is enabled...For that get into bios first and default all settings to the factory optimal defaults...after that save changes with f10 and restart ...now is the time to look into the device manager to see if any of the newly enabled devices are in yellow with an ask sign on them ...In this case those are the ones that need drivers to be installed
if you do not have a drivers cd for the operation system that you have in use..go to the support site of the manufacturer ,choose downloads..and look for your exact model and operating system ...Most manufacturers have all the drivers needed in free downloads on the site ..
if you find your exact model on this site ..you will have all the drivers too..
