Insert your memory card into reader. Click "start"----->"my computer" then navigate to the location of your pictures. You then select the pictures you want by either click and drag or by holding "Ctrl" while clicking to selct individual pictures. Then right click and choose "copy". Close the current window. Then, click "start"----->"my computer" then click on the drive associated with you memory card reader (usually E: F: or G:). right click and choos "paste". You computer will then start the file transfer. Depending on how many picture you are trying to copy, this could take a while. When it is fisnished remove your card.

If I were in your situation, I would stop trying to download to my computer. I would take the card to my nearest Walmart store and use one of their picture kiosk machines to either print all of the pics or even make a CD copy of them.

I have just lost the photos from my new 8gb memord card using brand new powershotSX30IS.

You haven't given us much to work with. Unless you've deleted the pictures on purpose or formatted the card, your pics are still there. You could get a card reader and use it to download your pics to a computer. You could also take the card to a store like Walmart and use one of their picture kiosk machines to either print the pics or even make a cd copy of them. typrice_239.jpg

Well, at this point, it probably can't be repaired. Try taking it to a store like Walmart and plug it into one of their photo kiosk machines. They are very good at reading cards and if you're successful, you can print the pics and even make a CD copy of the pics.

Cannot upload Sd card on to laptop via card reader port - some images appear but then distort with lines

It's not unusual for a card reader port to become corrupted. Either try a separate USB type card reader or take the camera to a store like Walmart and use one of their photo kiosks to either print your pics or store them on a CD.

I have the motorola cliq. Bluetooth has never worked. And I really want to bluetooth it to a photo kiosk and print pictures at walmart. Please help. Is there a app that I can get for it? Thank you.

What you can do is save your pics on to a memory card and then from there you can use the memory card to print out your pics at walmart.

Photos vanished - but may still be on stick???

Two things you can try. 1. Get a separate card reader and use it to transfer your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. 2. Take the card to a Walmart store that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk machine. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them.

Memory card showing 'no image' after trying to upload

Sounds like you didn't use the "safely remove hardware" function when you disconnected the USB cable. This can corrupt the card and even the camera. You could try using a separate card reader to download the pics from the card. If that works, and the pics are safely downloaded, then you should format the card in the camera to erase and optimize it. If it doesn't work, take the card to a Walmart that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk and it should be able to read your card. You can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Then, format the card in the camera.

high chance that your card is dead...take it to another card reader, like at a Wal-Mart kiosk to transfer pics for printing.
