I have a miele w864 washing machine that will not fill with water

Does the light "Check Inlet" stay on? If it does, it is likely the water inlet valve solenoids that are inoperative. How old is the washing machine?

I have a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. The check engine light has suddenly come on. Any idea why? it has 96K miles. And has been regularly put through the manufacturers recommended maint schedule at the...

I have owned many Toyota's, they all had the check engine light come on and stay on, when they went off, I worried. I never had it checked to see what it was, but it could be a number of things. Oxygen sensor, idle air control, inlet air temp, mass air flow, variable inlet system, electronic dist, etc, etc, etc, get it to a parts store with a scanner and see what comes up. Check it out.

Will not load water, light stays on 6 and beeps

Check the water inlet valve. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small screens inside the water inlet valve ports. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris. Check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

I have a br 420c magnum blower and it will not stay running.... it acts like it is getting too much gas. i pulled muffler, spark arrester screen, i adjusted the idle, i adjusted the h and l screws...

H and L screws should be between 1.5 and 2 complete turns counter clockwise from where they lightly bottom out. if still no good, check diaphragm in carburetor on inlet needle side. it needs to be pliable and NOT laying on the inlet needle lever.

Mini load, rinse hold and on/off lights flashing

Check the relay and the control board. Something is telling the inlet valves to stay open and allow water. If you just bought and replaced the inlet valve that would be your next stop

Put detergent in a dishlex dishwasher now the pump stays on a& the dishwasher does not work, just displays a flashing red eco light

Hello jack SparWelcome,

You said, Put detergent in a dishlex dishwasher now the pump stays on a& the dishwasher does not work, just displays a flashing red eco light

What is the BRAND and MODEL Number and year of your dishwasher. Model can be found on sticker inside.

Did you turn off the power at the breaker for 5 minutes to see if it resets the system?
If this is not the case, Please explain!
What do you mean the pump stays on?????????????????????????

If it is not getting water and not working then these may be the problem
Water source turned off
Check to ensure the water source is turned on and water is getting to the water inlet valve.

Float switch
The float switch allows water to enter into the machine to a point where the float will rise up off of the switch and disconnect power to the water inlet valve. If the switch is defective or the float is stuck in the up position, the water will not enter into the machine

Defective water inlet valve

If there is 110v across the two wires on the water inlet valve when the machine is set to fill, the valve should open and the water should enter into the machine. If the water does not enter, the valve is defective.

Defective Timer

The timer is a series of switches that controls all machine functions. If one of the contacts in the timer is defective, the machine will lose that function. knowledge of the the use of a vol/ohmmeter is essential to testing the timer as well as the ability to read the timer sequence chart that is supplied with the machine. In most cases this requires a professional technician.
