Question about Computers & Internet
Install you hard drive, either on middle IDE bus position, that is the grey ribbon connector or on the next available SATA port. Enter the BIOS by hitting the delete key and under hard drive tab ensure that the BIOS has detected it. If it has not then, enter the auto detection menu. If it has then exit without saving. Let your PC boot into Windows. Double click My computer and see if it has automatically pick it up and assigned a drive letter. If it has not the follow these instructions. 1.)Go to the Control Panel. 2.)Double click Administrative Tools. 3.)Double Click Computer Management. 4.)Under the Storage heading on the left hand side of the screen, click Disk Management. Here you will now be able to select your newly installed hard drive and assign a drive letter to it, if you would like to name if F: drive then you may do so as long as there are no other drives already assigned that letter. You may be asked to format your hard drive, use NTFS full format. Remember that if you do so you will lose all information stored on it.
Thumbs up, Thanks

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 27, 2013 | ASUS Computers & Internet
Insert the USB flash drive into one of the USB ports on your computer.
Momentarily a small prompt will appear saying the computer has detected a new removable device.
Insert the antivirus software installation CD into the disc drive of the computer to launch the installation wizard.
If you downloaded the program, double-click the downloaded file to launch the installation wizard.
Read through and accept the license agreement, then click "Browse" when shown the installation location.
A search window will appear on the screen. Choose the USB flash drive and click "OK."
Click "Next" for the installation name and select "Install." The antivirus program now will install onto the USB flash drive
hope this helps
