Hi gang. The amazing advice so far has gotten my h700 paired with my Samsung. It sees it. It paired. BUT IT WON'T CONNECT. Everytime I hit connect, it says, "CONNECTION IS FAILED" and I can't seem to get past it.
It's been a ride just getting back here. I hadn't been able to connect for 6 mos., but I tried deleting the H700 from my phone, then went through a ton to get it back to being recognized and then paired. But now I'm back where I started. Headset doesn't connect, as before.
I have a Motorola Razor phone and it recognizes there's a device but it won't connect. I got the headset from a friend but can't make it work. I have another bluetooth that works fine with the phone and my Nuvi works fine with it, but not this H700.I have a Motorola Razor phone and it recognizes there's a device but it won't connect. h700 will not connect to 2 different treo 680, h850 does connect to them
let the h700 go completely dead then recharged, still no good

Re: H700 / Samsung Blade: WILL pair. Won't Connect!
PUT HEADSET IN PAIRING MODE
1.Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light not blinking and headset boom is closed) 2.Press and hold the Call button. After about 4 or 5 seconds, the indicator light becomes steadily lit in magenta 3.Release the Call button and immediately open the headset boom. The indicator light remains lit in magenta.
If the indicator light is flashing in blue or not steadily lit when opening the headset boom, repeat steps 1 through 3

If tv is bluetooth capable, look under menus and pair with H700.
Phones if initially paired will simply need to have bluetooth 'active' (as by default it is usually off). - If not pair - you will need to go through menus under 'settings' to pair with the H700 (also at this point indicate that the H700 is 'trusted device').
Press and hold the call button while the boom is in the off position for 4 to 5 seconds. The blue indicator light should come on and stay on. The unit is now in pairing mode. Initiate you phones feature of searching for bluetooth devices and pair the two together. The default passcode for the H700 is "0000" four zeros.
Good Luck
On the left side of the page click Demos
When the demo window opens click, Select Demos button.
Scroll through the list until you see Sending Via bluetooth.
Follow the interactive instruction to connect to your H700.
You'll need to set your H700 into pairing mode when searching for the bluetooth H700.
It might be a good idea to book mark the main page.
To successfully pair the Motorola 700 with the Centro: Select Bluetooth from the Home screen. Select "On". Under "Visibility", select "Visible". Now click "Setup Devices". Click "Hands-free Setup" On the Motorola earpiece, with the flip-out mouthpiece in the closed position, press and hold the multi button until ring around it glows purple. Flip open the mouthpiece. Now click "Next" on the Centro's screen. The Centro should find the Motorola. Hold the Motorola to the right side of the phone if you have difficulty getting the Centro to find it. Once found, click the Motorola H700 listed in the window and click "OK". The Centro will ask for the device password. Enter 0000. Be sure that the checkbox for "Add to trusted device list" is checked. Click OK. The two devices should now be paired to work together and the Motorola's multi button should rapidly blink blue; NOW click "Done". You will be taken to the Trusted Devices screen. You will see your Motorola in the list of Trusted Devices. Click on it to highlight it, if it is not already highlighted. Click the menu drop-down key (located to the right of the ALT key). You will now see a drop-down at the top of the screen that says "Connect". Click the "palm" center button on your Centro. NOW the two devices are connected. The phone name will now be bold, and a small Bluetooth icon will appear to the right of it. When you click the Phone key on your Centro, you will see a tiny blue headphone symbol now at the top right of the screen where the Bluetooth icon used to be.
To use the earpiece: Flip it open and hang it on your ear. Dial the number you want to call on the phone. Press the multi button once and now you should be connected via the earpiece. To receive a call, when your Centro rings, press the multi button once.
It took me a few hours to figure it out. Hopefully you can do it in a few seconds.
Thank you. I called a 1-800 number for tech support but they told me I had to wait 14 days from the date of purchase before they could help me. Your suggestion was right on the money. Thank you.
First: When charging the light should be steady. If the battery is less than 20% charged it should be red. More than 20% it will be yellow. Fully charged it should be green. Make sure your microphone is closed when charging.
Second: Have you "Paired" the H700 and the phone? If not you need to. To put the H700 into "Pairing Mode" do this:
Make sure the H700s microphone are is in the off position. Push in and
hold the button on the H700 until the light lights up purple. Release
the button and quickly open the microphone button. The light will stay
purple and you are now in "Pairing Mode". Now follow the instructions
for your phone to pair with a BlueTooth unit. When it asks for a code,
use 0000 (that is 4 zeros).
