Question about Nokia 3120 Classic Cell Phone
Restore the phone settings to factory default and restart it. It should work fine. To restore your phone, open Menu then go to Settings, locate Factory Default or Restore Factory, (this option might also be under the Phone settings section, depends on customization of the User Interfaces) select it and enter 12345 as code when asked, confirm any warning by selecting "yes" or "Ok". If it doesn't restart itself, restart it manually (Turn Off and Turn On).
If in case, this doesn't help, you'll need to upgrade/update the firmware or you better flash the handset. But unfortunately this is not possible from your end since it needs a specific hardware and software to Flash a mobile (Flash = format the system and install a new copy of operating system).
If you need further help, let me know.
Thanks for using FixYa.
