JVC does not show this model to be a valid model number in the database. The model series begins with the GR-D32U which I have a manual for. If you would like, I can convert it to a PDF for you and email it to you. Joe Weibel Custom Electronics (customelectronics.org)

Disconnect the cable from Camera to PC and re-connect.
It should show message as new hardware found. Continue with the wizard. Or you can choose the option - Find the drivers online and wait for driver installation to complete.
You will get a message as " Device successfully connected " on bottom right corner of your PC screen.
Click on Start button
Click on Computer
In the new window you will find a new Drive E: or F: Which is your Camcorder data folder. Open it and copy the contents to your PC. ( this is the only way you can access your Camcorder details on Win 7 )
