Question about Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera
Check your ISO settings, and make sure they haven't been set to something like 100 or a low setting, and not on automatic. There could be a problem with the shutter speed settings, and check to see if it's on a fixed setting or on auto.
If the problem is anything besides settings, the unit will have to be troubleshot, and that usually requires servicing, and most definitely opening it up. I don't recommend trying to fix a camera like this, since it's a complicated, sophisticated unit, and can incur more damage than good, unless you really know what you're doing.
Recheck your settings, then contact Fuji to see what they think. Here's their website:
If they can't do anything for you, take it in to a local camera repair shop. Get an estimate first, and you'll know what you're up against.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
