Question about ASUS Essentio Desktop with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor
Well I have seen this problem occur due to faulty BIOS. So here's the plan. First lets make sure that its not a hardware problem. Disconnect the cables powering the USB ports(cables of one port at a time). Be careful the cables go onto pins and you do not want to bend/break them. If a particular port is not the source of the problem then move on to the next one. Repeat until you find the faulty one. If there is any recent change that you have made in your system hardware, then let me know.

disconnect all your usb devices aside from usb keyboard and mouse.
if the error is gone, start re attaching device one by one until you find the device that causes the problem, what device is it?
