Euro pro sewing machine model 9110

The needle is not picking up the bobbin thread at all.  I believe the timing is off.  Do you have how to set the timing instructions?  This is actually for the model 9110 intelli-sew

I have a Euro-Pro 9110 and the Exclamation point keeps displaying as I try to sew, so the machines stops sewing; not sure if i moved the needle to a position where it's not catching any threads.... also the needle stops right at the plate plate, instead of dropping in to lower area below the needle plate... is this a timing issue or do i need to move the needle?

I have a Europro 9110, I believe the timing is off also. I was looking for a service manual as I would like to do my own service

Is there a way to actually fix the timing problem ourselves on my 9110? The top thread doesn't pick up the bottom thread. Seems to be about 180 degrees off

The needle will not pick up the bobbin thread. Therefore will not sew. What can I do?

There is no solution for that problem. My machine was doing the same thing, I returned it for "repair". Got it back 2 wks later and had the same problem. Just the other day, the machine did that, and then something "popped" and now the upper thread won't catch the bobbin thread. I called Customer Service and was told that if I want my machine repaired, I have to send them a check with the machine for $81! Your best bet...get rid of the Intelli-Sew and buy something that doesn't break every month or so!

SOURCE: won't catch bobbin thread

In order to see whether or not my euro-pro 9110 had a timing issue, the service rep had me change out the needle (making sure I was using anything but a Singer brand needle--they do not work in these machines). I re-threaded the needle, took out the bobbin casing and the plastic ring encasing the bobbin, then lowered the needle to see if the hook on the metal ring holding the bobbin actually catches the thread on its own. If it doesn't catch, it's a timing issue and needs repair. They can walk you through this process of troubleshooting and set up repair if need. I have a euro pro shark sewing machine. I just changed the thread for another project and cannot get the needle to pick up the bobbin thread. Any ideas?

Try installing a brand new needle. Bent/damaged needles will sometimes not pick up the bobbin thread.

Make sure the machine is threaded correctly. Check the bobbin--ie, it is turning the correct direction in the bobbin case and is threaded properly through the bobbin tension.

You might also try pulling the bobbin thread up to the top before beginning to stitch.

My needle is not picking up my bobbin thread. How can I correct this issue?

Could be you are using the wrong needle. If it is too short it will not pick up the bobbin thread. Or your machine could be out of time.

Needle hits

Does not matter what machine you have from a 50's straight stitch to a newer model right out of the box. If your needle is hitting you are out of time. It needs to be reset and on that I can not help you as it is mechancal on the underside. What the needle is hitting is the bobbin arm.
When the bobbin arm swings around it picks up the top thread and loops it over the bobbon thread then releases the threads together for the loops and swings again for the next thread. When you hear the needle hit it is hitting this swing arm. That needs to be adjusted and that is called timing.
Open the bobbin case and turn the needle down by hand. You will see the needle as it goes through the throught plate down the catch the bobbon thread. You will see it hit the arm.
This needs to be backed off or set forward. Takes a trained person as I have never been able to do it myself. This happens when you sew to thick of a fabric, or go over several seams from light to thick. Or is you are pulling the fabric. If you head a CLUNK when it started then that is what I think it is.

My wife has a model 9110 sewing machine. It has stop picking up the thread from the bobin. Can you help on this fix?

Put new needle in

Make sure you have a 3-5 inch thread tail on both top thread & bobbin
Then hold the top thread tail with your fingers (away from the needle)
& use the hand wheel on the right hand side of machine & slowly lower needle into bobbin area & see if it will pick up the bobbin thread that way

rethread the bobbin,,also check the bobbin area for lint or loose threads

if none of these suggestions work, then the machine could be out of time & would need to be repaired

Needle will not pick up bobbin threat

Try flipping the bobbin spool so the thread comes off in the other direction.
Forcing means that the needle has been jammed against the sewing plate ant the needle is now out of timing with the bobbin pickup.

you need a new bobbin case, only problem is finding the right one. I am currently wasting hours trying to find one for our 9110 intelli sew which has needle holes punched through it from where it jumps right out. I think lots of manufacturers know fine which parts fit the Euro-Pro but would like all of us to scrap them and go out and buy theirs!
