Oil pressure sometimes reads pressure when motor off. sometimes it starts then a brand new battery became dead. COuld it be the oil pressure sensor? APpears to be intermittent.

You need to have a parasitic draw test performed on the vehicle to determine the source of the battery going dead. The oil pressure switch should not cause a dead battery. Something is drawing power that shouldn't be when the vehicle is turned off

Why is psn network not working

Hi.

The PSN is having difficulties with their servers.
It is NOT a problem with your machine, ok?

Somehow, some of their servers got overloaded to the point where some became damaged, and now people worldwide are experiencing difficulties connecting to it.

It also may have something to do with all the tornadoes here in the US this past week, alot of communication lines were damaged, and that may be making matters worse for everyone.

I hope this helps you know what the deal is.

Good luck to you, and have a nice day.

After travelling over 15 miles say 10-20 minutes the bike wont start and yet if left 20 minutes or so will, any suggestions1986 Goldwing Aspencade

Had the same problem on my 1985 GL1200 aspy.
One of the pulse generators had an intermittent error. With time, it became worse. I replace the pulse generator set and problem gone. Pretty difficult to find, especially as I reasoned that 2 cylinders oughtta fire if one pulse generator worked. Wrong assumption. On the 1985, one dead pulse generator means no ignition. So check the spark when it's dead. Did take me a long time to figure out.
Good luck

My laptop toshiba satellite a110 keyboard seems to have locked. I am unable to access even bios on start up. once booted everything appears normal except the locked keboard. any help on this problem will...

Sounds like your keyboard may have gone bad or became disconnected in some way.Try raising the keyboard and see if its connected securely to the motherboard. If it is i tend to think the keyboard needs replaced.Check with the manufacturer to make sure there is'nt a simpler solution though.

TV won't respond to remote(s)

I don't know of any adjustments for the IR receiver but the receiver itself could have gone bad or something may be blocking the IR lens not letting the IR signal get through. Maybe (but unusual) there may be a cold solder joint in the IR circuit. Sometimes dust will collect on the inside of the IR lens causing this problem. You can verify the operation of your remotes by holding them close to an AM radio receiver and pushing the buttons. You'll hear a popping sound through the radio speaker whenever a button is pushed. You may have to tune the radio up or down the band to pick up the remote's signal. Stargazer

Remote control issues

Yes it is a quessing game. If we experts do not have the set in front of us to trouble shoot, but I will explain the process. First off to work on any tv set, your going to need a schematic diagram or should have one, or it will be a crapshoot. Next set up your osilliscope and multimeter. First check the B+ going to the IR sensor. If its at 9 to 15 volts, and is clean without distortion, Im thinking that is ok, but check the manual to see what it is suppose to be. Once the B+ is confermed good. Place the scope probe to the data output on the IR sensor while pressing a remote funtion. If the date is clean looking and is present then the IR sensor is good. If it is not good or noisy, replace the IR sensor. In the event its there, trace the data signal with the assistance of the schematic diagram, to the microprocessor, through all the jumpers and plugs and componets, like coupling capacitors or resistors, as I have found bad solder connections on the route to the microprocessor. If the same data signal is on the input of the microprocessor remote input, that is on the data output on the IR sensor, then replace the micro. This way of troubleshooting, has in the past, fixed every remote problem I have encountered with a remote intermittant, or no remote operation. Good Luck
