Does this happen with all cassets???
If So then....
1. try using a head cleaner casset.
2. connect the cam to your p.c. and check it for viruses.

Any idea how to fix it? Is it the sensor or something else?

Open totally the cassete look for paper jam inside that might cover the sensor.
Remove cassete and look for black plastic actuator located on top of paper when cassete is inserted, it might be broken.
If all are ok , press as follow to reset the malfunction [off] while pressing [ Utility/Counter] turn [On] wait till the display appear then [trouble reset] it will appear OK on screen turn OFF/ON main power.

I insert ink cassete into it"s selphy cp780 photo

Go to section on Error Messages at page 32 of the User Guide found at:

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0/0300002060/02/SELPHYCP780_PUG_EN_03.pdf

It will tell you to remove and reinstall the ink cassette. Try this and make sure you install correctly as per instructions on page 11 of the User Guide.

If this does not resolve the problem, do a complete power down of the printer. Turn off and unplug from the power supply. Lets rest fro a few minutes and then plug back in to the power supply and if necessary turn on power. This should allow your printer to reset and hopefully recognize that a new ink cassette has been installed.

Trust this helps. Please vote. :)

Hello...i m using a sony DCR-HC48E....from 2 yaers....very good condition still...not much used even.... Oneday i just ejected its cassete in a proper manner...and than afterwards i was no way able to...

Your continual use of multiple full stops makes it difficult to comprehend your query - as I understand it, you have broken your camcorder. Your choices are to get it repaired or to replace it. BTW, demanding help 'immediately' is both impolite and uncouth - we deserve to be treated with respect.

Canon ZR60 Mini DV Digital, remove the cassete message

This is a tape transport problem and is expensive to fix. Unless you know a cheap tech, it's time for a new one. Be patient loading and unloading tapes. This is usually what causes this problem. The Yellow warning sticker is REALLY important. Another important item is to always use the same brand of tape because switching tapes causes a gummy build-up the makes tapes get caught in the machine.

Recently repaired one of these with what appeared to be a power supply problem; found several defective capacitors on the drive board. The symptoms were similar to what you are seeing.
