my lent my bf my insignia mp3 and it came back with all this other junk on it, duplicate songs etc- he says he didn't do it so maybe whatever computer he used did an automatic sync or something.... Anyway, I want to just clear the whole thing out and start over again.
BTW What the hell is Devicon.fil_ is it intentionally placed there? I'm pretty damn confident it comes from using media player to sync the device so I'm going to use another program when I add music from now on but I want to know that this file is GONE! I;m sick of the random freezes where I'm unable to even turn the damn thing off- it stays locked on and glows and all I can do is wait for the battery to die.my lent my bf my insignia mp3 and it came back with all this other junk on it, duplicate songs etc- he says he didn't do it so maybe whatever computer he used did an automatic sync or something.... to delete music from your ipod you must delete it from itunes
connect the usb cord that connects your ipod and computer. open your itunes go to your music files right click to the song(s) you want to delete once you completed this steps SYNC your ipod. uplug your ipod this should help
You can set your iTunes to "manually manage music and video", then plug in your iPod to iTunes, and delete the songs from your iPod with iTunes.
Or you may try this ipod tool, it can help you delete iPod music easily, Much better than iTunes http://www.ipod-transfer-copy.com/ipod-iphone-to-computer-transfer-cucusoft.html Hope it helps.
it sounds like media player updates (syncs) your mp3 player when it is connected to the computer. If you had music on the mp3 player that you removed from the computer then it makes sense that when updating the mp3 player it will remove it from there also. Try leaving music on media player that you want to sync with your mp3 player and try resyncing it, hopefully this will help
