I have done several Aquos in real life, and I should be able to help.
That is protect mode (forced standby), that indicates that an internal fault has ocurred.
Sharp Aquos may not give any error (blinking) code when this happens. In that case the TV must be taken apart and tested by a technician.
If there is a code error, that is given by the way the power light flashes, in that case let me know if there is a standard pattern, and let me know how many times the power light flashes. The current description does not fit any code.
