    TV turns off after afew minutes and then when I unplug and then plug in it it starts and stops immediately

    tv powers itself off and on automatically frequently but only during commercials. and after a few times it doesn't power on, have to unplug.

    Yes, I have the same problem. I can go for weeks with no outage, then all of a sudden it will happen repeatedly. Just before the tv automatically turns off, the screen turns bright green. Sometimes I can grab the remote really quick and change the channel and it won't go out. I've tried everything to figure out why this happens (i.e., whether the tv's been on for a long time/short time, room temperature, if it's a full moon:>) but can't come up with any common factors. HELP!

Good Day,lizbg;
Check the solder connections at the negative side of both C809 and C810. Resolder if necessary. This a common problem with model.
Good Luck, Big Irish.

Replaced lamp on mitsubishi wd62527 worked for 10 minutes then shut down. Now red lamp light is on

If the red indicator light on the front of your HDTV is glowing a solid red, you should first unplug the AC cord from the wall power outlet and wait for 60 seconds before reapplying power to the HDTV.

After you turn the TV on, if it doesn't power up, try holding the power button down for at least 8 seconds. That's supposed to force a system reset. If your model has a system reset button, use that instead. Press the reset button for about 20 seconds...release it and press it again for 20 seconds, release it again and the led will blink just for a minute or two. You should now be able to turn the TV on.
If after several attempts, the HDTV has not fully powered on and the LED on the front of the HDTV is still glowing solid red, you may want to reseat the lamp.

If reseating the lamp has not resolved the issue then your next step is to order a replacement lamp.

Mitsubishi 73" DLP powers on, through welcome

If you are getting at turn on source and back ground is all blue the set will shut down rather quickly;

I have a suggestion, if it works fine, and if not it will not hurt anything.

with original Mitsubishi remote turn set on and then Menu, 1,2,3, enter.

This is the soft reset that most of these sets have (cannot be sure since Model number above is correct?)

The reset button on the front (if it has it) just shuts the set down and reboots the DM unit inside.

Most of these sets when it is pressed the green light will blink for about 70 seconds and go out; that is the DM unit rebooting and the soft restart is something else.

Let me know what you find before you rate this information.

Sharp lc-c4067un troubleshooting flashing power light flashing red & opc light flashing green tv will not come on and can not shut off @ tv or remote.

Hi,
Unplug your devices from the power outlet for atleast 10-20 seconds. Then plug back in. This could possibly be the easiest fix for you.
I hope this works for you,

I have a Emerson LD190EM1 Tv DVD combo. It will not work with my Dish Network remote. What is the IR code?

I also have the same tv with no luck on my dish network with the codes. However, I just did an autoscan and found the code, but it doesn't tell you what code. I am sorry I cannot give you the code, since manually entering them did not work, but the auto scan did work!

To run auto scan follow these steps.... it took me about 5 minutes to find on my dish network remote.
1. Press and hold the tv mode button until all other mode lights flash.
2. Press the red power button (not the red tv power button, but the power button which normally shuts off your receiver only)
3. Press the up button (about every other second) When your remote finds the code, your tv will automatically shut off.... once it shuts off, DO NOT press the up button again.
4. While the tv is off, press the pound (#) button.
Your remote will be programmed to your tv. Turn on your tv with the small red power button with the tv wording and test other functions (volume, etc.)

I tried this last night, waiting about 3 seconds in betwwen with no luck after 30 minutes, just a tired finger from constantly pressing the up button. But tonight I tried it on my LD190EM1 and paused for a second inbetween pressing up and almost fainted when the tv actually shut off within 5 minutes of starting! Best of Luck!!!

Tv will not go on

On my GE Tv/VCR Combo I had a similar problem. Try holding down the Power button on the remote for at least 7 seconds. This disengages the parental controls. I found this solution on another website after my tv stopped working after my 20 month old played with the remote for a while. This solution was not in manual. I am assuming that he held down the power button for 7 seconds to engage the parental control. Hope this helps!

Power button Flashes

For the first one, please list the model number and count the blinks. Also, can you please post each problem separately. It will get too confusing trying to address 3 sets with different but similar problems.
Thanks,
Dan
