When this happens on a heater, the motor for the fan is bad and should be replaced, if the part is available.

I have a portable Quartz heater which requires a fan to move, and once manually moved the fan blade with a plastic pen from a safe distance. After that the fan worked until I think whatever was making it stiff in movement went away.

However, I would say that if the fan is not working, replace it.

I'm not sure what year, make, and model you have to research it further.

Oh, I just read that you have determined it's the circuit board!

The circuit board is what controls the fan, I gather.

What about the circuit board do you think is awry to cause the fan not to turn?

I have a 1996 chevy lumina and the temperature gauge keeps moving around unpredictably. The fans wont come on. We checked the fuses and relay switch. Could it be the fan motor, or temperature gauge

The gauge is supposed to move. Between 190 and 210 degrees. About a 1/16 to 1/4 inch movement with the needle. If it goes from middle(200 degrees) to hot(260 degrees) and back. Check the coolant level. Air pocket in the engine. Low fans come on at about 210 degrees. High fans come on at 225 degrees. High fans come on when the A/C is turned on. And it works.

Red light indecator keeps flashing red

Flashing red is a fan fail . It is probly blinking like 3 short and 1 long blink. If so then most likely your tv needs to have a new dmd fan installed.
Also once that tv detects a stopped fan it must be unpluugged from the wall outlet and plugged back in to get it to even try to turn on again. Sometimes fans will kinda work after a few trys or when the tv gets moved around.

Crosshairs on pentax 4.5x14x42 don't move

With modern rifle scopes the crosshairs do not move. They are designed so that the crosshairs are always centered.I have not seen a scope with crosshairs that move for about 40 years. If your scope has 1/4 minute clicks, then the strike of the bullet moves 1/4 inch at 100 yards for every click.1 inch for 4 clicks and so on.If you rifle shoots 6 inches high at 100 yards you should turn it down 24 clicks to strike dead on.Many hunters and shooters adjust their scopes to strike 1 1/2 inches high at 100 yards. Then it will be accurate to about 300 yards without further adjustment.

TV wont stay on

Sounds like a short somewhere in there. I see old pre-HD big screen sets going for well under $200 on my local craigslist, so look there for a good replacement, because the repair will cost more.

Or fork over about $500 for a good used HD projection set.

GE nautilus wont run

These motors were famous for the seal sticking to shaft. If this is an older unit turn the fan on motor by hand until it breaks free. Do this with power off.
