Problems with safety foot/ trigger will prevent gun from firing. Simple test, to discover issue. Remove nails for safety, remove trigger and dry fire gun by directly pressing trigger pin in various positions. If gun fires as needed, examine safety foot /trigger for parts needing adjustment / replacement. Second test, remove nails and disconnect air. Move gun from upright position to upside down and listen for movement of parts within gun. If you hear or feel parts moving inside of gun, orings are too loose. Parts inside of gun should not move and be well lubed with silicone paste (sold at lowes in the plumbing dept. used for faucet orings). Good luck.

Paslode framing nailer: compressor powered, hisses but will not shoot nails, appears to be in the sliding mechanizism that touches the wood first before it will shoot, help

I've used paslode for years and whenever there was a "hiss" of air and no fire- it was o-rings- When were the o-rings changed last? And how do you know they are in 'good shape'? You can't tell by just looking at them. If that isn't the problem then I can't help. Just as an aside- do you oil the gun (down the air intake nipple) every time you use it? Lack of oil will wear out o-rings fast. Sorry if this isn't overly helpfull but most gun problems are o-ring or seal related unless you've worn out or damaged a mechanical part.

Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

My finish nail guns, 16 ga won't fire.

There is a little plastic piece inside above the trigger...usually this breaks. It touches a microswitch when the cylinder is closed all the way, allowing the nail to fire.

Nail comes out another hole

are you using the right nails and are they inserted properly if this is an angle gun? Also look for a jammed nail that might be causing this. look at the magazine bolts to make sure they are tight. You can go to Paslode.com for the owners manual and troubleshooting guide.

Paslode air framer not sinking some nails

Your air pressure is dropping everytime you fire. It sound like your compressor is not cutting back in untill it to low. Not giving your tool enough continuess pressure. Your compressor cut in pressure should be around 90-100psi no less. and your max. pressure no more then 120psi. (Make sure your regulator is set at 110psi)
good luck...!

Paslode nail gun not firing

Hi,
Yes you need to oil driver blade piston.
You need to check for spark. With no nail or gas in it. Take of main cylinder(4bolts on top, 2 bolts on nose. And then put in battery. And then push upper switch(behind roller at top) and the fan will come on. And then pull the trigger. You should have spark.
Thanks,
Jeff
