I CAN FIX IT! There are links that show you how to repair this issue yourself (but they are not very clear and every thing is very fragile inside the XBOX 360) or you can contact me via reply on here and we can discuss the issue further as I recently repaired my XBOX 360 with the same issues and it works better than when was brand new. It is a heat sync problem that has to be repaired by someone with indepth electronics knowledge.

4 Red lights means your av cables, check to make sure the AV cable's are connected. If they are, unplug the Xbox's power. Unplug the AV Cables from the Xbox and the TV. Reconnect them all back. If still nothing, try using a different AV cable.

XBox360 error codes (Three Red Lights of Death, Red Ring of Death, X-Clamp)

XBox 360 error codes are displayed with flashing lights in the ring of bi-color LEDs located around the start button, like in the picture below:

They are often called lights of death. The technical name from Microsoft is Light codes.

LEDs located around the start button can be green or red. When they get red it means that there is a problem.
When the XBox is operating normally The leds will be green. The number of green segments indicates the number of controllers connected to the Xbox.
Here a working Xbox with one and four controllers connected to the console:

If the lights are red instead of green, then there is a problem. Here the four common error codes:

A: The code in picture A, with only one red segment on and flashing on the fourth quadrant, means that there had been an hardware failure. The internal component failing is often not specified.
The light code is accompained by an error message on display, telling a numeric code that can better address the cause of the fault. The best thing to do is contacting Microsoft to find out the reason for the code. Depending on the code you may also be asked to perform a secondary error code retrieval procedure.

In the Example above E74 means that there is an hardware fault on video connections or GPU.

B: If the first and fourth quadrant LEDs are on, that means that there had been overheating. Internal fans, CPU and board must be tested.

C: General hardware failure. This means that the console detected an internal failure, but no error code is displayed on screen. Call Microsoft to get instructions on detecting secondary code or sending the console for repair. This error code is commonly called Three Lights of Death.

D: The last error means that there is a problem with the AV connection to the monitor or TV. The code is not displayed if you use HDMI connection, in that case you get an on-screen error code. Test using different cables. If that does not fix the problem, this error means that the XBox Gpu is fried. This error code is commonly called Red Ring of Death or RROD.

In the near future I plan to publish a new article explaining how to troubleshoot secondary error codes. In the meanwhile, if you need more support, you can ask a question to our experts or contact Microsoft.

I have a red light on the fourth player spot

Remove all the cables (composite/component, power, you know, anything that plugs into the console) and let it sit for a minute or so. Plug everything back in. If it still doesn't work, remove the hard drive and attempt to start the xbox. If it works, the problem is with your hard drive. If it doesn't work, the problem is with the xbox itself. Regardless, you'll have to contact xbox customer support to fix either of these problems.

I have a prblem with my xbox 360

This is a sign that your 360 is overheating. I would try to get some air going through it to let get rid of the heat. Check the vent holes around the 360 to be sure nothing is blocking it. Be sure it is off any carpet or that nothing loose is under it(paper, plastics).

If it continues it may be that the fan is becoming loose. How old is the 360 you have??

How do i get my red eye fixed

First make sure how many lights are red, red ring of death with light up the player 1,3,and 4 slots. If all 4 are glowing try an av cable (sometimes rrd will look like all 4 are lit but look carefully and often the fourth slot is only reflected light). next log onto and enter your console information. If the rrd warranty is still active, they will repair it for free (rrd is warranteed far beyond the normal console warranty, so be sure to try this before opening your console).
