Didn't work, i'm tired of trying now to be honest and cant think of anything else to try, i think it might be something to do with compatability to my c-media soundcard drivers (yes these are up to date). If you think of anything else then please tell me. Apologies about the negative rating, i thought thanks for trying was a neutral rating, its been changed to helpful.

You probably dont have the correct driver installed.

If you are running XP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit, download from here:

If you are running the regular XP or Vista, download from here:

If the solution works, kindly rate this as Fixya. If not, please post back and I will assist you further, if possible. Kindly change the rating in your original post as well, as Thanks for Trying is a negative rating.

We need driver of ms-7142ver :1mother bord driver

MSI introduced Live Update a while ago and it has worked great for me so far. Live update is a software which runs on your computer which you can use to automatically detect your hardware and get the latest drivers. If you cannot run Live Update on your computer, use one of the following links:

Disclaimer: These are third party sites and I would not recommend using the drivers downloaded from them. Try to use Live Update instead.

Logitech mx3200 keyboard doesn't work any more. The dynamic search & zoom (slider) at the left of the keyboard does work however. The mouse is ok. I already tried new batteries.

Sounds like a wireless keyboard, so pressing the connect button on the keyboard and receiver at near the same time should connect the keyboard again.
Good luck and let us know how it goes so we can get that keyboard up and running. If that doesn't help you can go to logiteck support site here:,en, locate you specific device and update the latest driver for it.
Good luck, and keep us posted.

MS wireless laser keyboard 5000

If the volume controls do not work inspite of reinstalling the software, then most likely your keyboard is defective and will need to be replaced.

You could try a clean install as a last resort.
For XP:

For Vista:

Hope that helps!
