My TV is located in one of my bedrooms, the only electrical apparatus would be a Digital Clock.

Samsung model HLP4663WX/XAA with loud buzzing noise, need to know which part to replace.

See attached photo: you have a bad color wheel----it turns at about 12,000 rpm and bearings in the tiny motor go bad.

High pitched or fan like sound is classic symptom.

The wheel is available on the internet and You Tube has video instructions by model number for replacing it---Google the model number for the part number for your set to locate the part and instructions.

This for most people is a do it yourself job---takes like 45 minutes start to finish.

If color wheel slows too much set will shut down as its speed is monitored and the wheel can even shatter causing shutdown of the set.

Im having a problem with some sort of power issue, sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesnt come on. i can hear a buzzing noise but it doesnt spin can you help thanks

Hi!
I think I had this kind of issue before on my computer. I sorted it out. First I check the motherboard and wiring inside if there are any wires touching the fans because of the buzzing sound. Found nothing. I noticed that the buzzing sound came from my hard drive. It seems that it's not getting enough power that's why its struggling to spin. What I did was I changed my power supply to higher wattage and everything was fine after that. You can give it a try though. If it still the same issue, you might as well try a different hard drive.

Regards!

This TV is horrible. I have the same one and not even a year replaced the light bulb twice. Very disappointing for a Samsung.
