What product can you possibly mean?  USB is a consortium, not a single company.  Figure that stuff out.  Obviously the program's not compatible with the way your system's set up; but I can't tell you what, because you didn't indicate whether there was ever a crash message.  Maybe you can download an updated driver and see if that one crashes too; or double-check the instructions to see if you forgot (or just skipped) an important step?

The software has caused your system to become unstable, so you need to uninstall it and see if it is compatible with your OS and tell me everything it says on the specs, and what is on your computer.

First, syncing is the transfer of data between computer software's that are designed to acquire and share with another entity. The sync function usually is embedded in the computer program. Once the computer recognizes compatible software that has several capabilities including transferring data, a USB connection capacity should be achievable. Usually devices that are designed for data transferability should be capable of acquiring a USB connection either as physical cables or wireless Bluetooth technology. The power to sync is contained in the software program. Once software that has sync capabilities is installed on the computer, any USB cable that is attached to an empty port would display a user message asking for further procedures. For example, USB connections on the computer that has media software's would display device recognizes link requiring data transfer. The solution lies in the software that is relied on for sync capabilities. Acquire Windows Media player, Real One player, or ITunes player as downloadable onto the computer to achieve compatibility.

Important Notes

USB ports are available on all computers as versatile connection links to devices that would require communications. The computers original systems are expected to recognize USB cable connection as manufacturers default. Usually, the computer is likely capable of upgrading several software programs that would least communicate with the USB. For example, the program suit installed has compatibility requirements to perform on the computer as an entity. Also, the program suit requires compatibility with USB connection for another device that would be connected to the computer. Do you have a Data Plan added to your account with your cellular provider? If not, you will need to have one added to tether your phone with your PC.

Also, have you downloaded and installed the USB Modem drivers to your PC?

If you haven't downloaded the Motorola Phone Tools program (PC Suite) or the Modem drivers you will need to do so to tether your PC to the internet.

Go to the following website:
http://motoroladownloads.webs.com

Sign up to enter the site. (It's as easy as 1-2-3)

As a member, you can then download the Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) for your PC for free.

**Make sure you download the USB Modem Drivers, too. (Free download also)

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup884ac5e.jpg icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

The PC Suite will include all of your options on the left hand side.

Pc willnot installmedia manage , says encountered problem and has to close.it has installedpc suite

To install Nokia PC Suite, before starting remove the old Nokia PC Suite (if installed), via the Start/Settings/Add or remove programs.
Unplug USB cable.
Restart PC.
Download latest Nokia PC Suite v6.86.9.0 do not install from the CD provided in the box. It's out of date by the time you buy a phone.
When installed do a restart, 2 is even better.
Then open Nokia PC Suite and follow the instructions to connect your phone. Only connect your USB when prompted.
Give it plenty of time to connect the Nokia software is slow.

Installing PC suite/PC

Hiya .. It is not the suite at fault..... make sure that you have installed the necessary usb data cable/ drivers which come with the drivers on the disc normally... and nothing else. The drivers effectively make the computer recognise the phone... is connected.. nothing more.. once you have done this you should not have any problems with using a software suite.

With Your O.S. you will need a usb data disc1.1 or similar, I had excatly the same problem when the phone was first produced, I got rid because I could not get used to the "joystick" button.
