You have three options to unlock your phone from Optus and make it Network Free.
The easiest and without spending any money is to call Optus and request your unlock code, telling them that you want to use multiple sim cards on the same phone. If you tell them that you don't want their service or you are switching to another network, they'll never give you the code as it's their business to lock the phone/handset with their network to preserve their customers.
If you could find a local store when they unlock or repair Nokia mobiles, you can get it unlocked for a small fee. Once it's unlocked using unlock software (with hardware as well), then you will be able to use any sim card on the same phone, no matter what network it is.
There are several online services to generate unlock codes, but most of them are not 100% and you need to pay a small fee for the service. If you wish to get this type of service, here's the best and with the lowest price (Click Here). Open the website, hover your mouse on the right of the "Select Make" and click "Nokia - Connecting People" logo, and select 6760 as your model from the "Select Model" options, select your country from "Select Country" and again select "Singel Optus Limited" as network from "Select Network", click "Proceed" and follow the onscreen instructions to make the payment. You'll be asked for your email address and the IMEI No.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
