Disconnect power then put the end of the drain hose into a bucket or shallow basin to manually drain the water by gravity. Position the bucket or basin as low as possible to extract as much water. There is a round door on the bottom front of the washer and at the 5-o'clock position, there is a small hole. Insert a pointed tool into the hole then push in to release the latch and rotate the cover clockwise to the 6-o'clock position and the door will pop out. Place a piece of towel under the door to catch residual water when you remove the filter. Take extra care to get cut by the edges of the opening then turn the filter knob counterclockwise to remove it.
