It sounds like you have power to the circuit board but nothing coming out. I would say that it has a bad board. This could be a normal wear and tear failure, but be aware that a short or power surge of some kind may have caused the board to fail. A fuseable link or something may be necessary to protect the board in the event that the original problem is still there. I don't want you to blow another board:)

Once you VACUUM the system and refill with Freon and do a gauge test, all systems should go. If you have a strange code, the only source is the factory service personnel.

The unit won't come on. I pushed the reset button but still nothing. The green light on the plug its self comes on but nothing on the air conditioner comes on.

There might be something wrong with the wiring connection. Check for open wire, burn-out wire or worn-out terminal lug from your control box. Unplug the unit and unscrew the control box to find the problem. If you found nothing abnormal plug it in and test with volt meter if power is coming at the end of the wires (connected to the plug). If no power at the end of the wires, it is broken near the plug. Cut the wire and reconnect it back to a new plug.

You need to bypass the on/off switch by jumping it, thereby taking the switch out of the circuit. If it works you have a bad switch. If it doesn't you have a power to the switch problem. Do you have a multimeter and a wiring diagram for this unit?

From the diagram everything is operated by the control board, unless it has a fuse on it you can replace looks like you gonna need one.

Unplug all the units, and wait for about a minute and plug it back. This is to reset all the units back to the
original condition. Hope this works.

How many wires for the thermostat do you have? If you tell me I can help. The green flashing, instead of red, in my experience, means a thermostat problem.
