I've used the 62150 black combo on XP Pro, not the 62150N Deluxe silver combo, for years without a problem after setting them up. Had 2 PS2 ports so had to use an adapter for the keyboard connector. To sync, press the ID button on the receiver. LED will blink fast for a few seconds, then slower Press the ID button on the mouse and keyboard while receiver is still blinking (need a pen or something for the mouse button). If the receiver LED blinks whenever you move the mouse or hit the keyboard, it is receiving the signal. If the OS does not recognize input, it could be the connectors (I had separate PS2 for mouse and keyboard each).

BTW, receiver USB connector works both keyboard AND mouse.
So you only need to connect that one cable to USB.
    That was my mouse problem.

Thank you for your help. I could not get the rating system to work but I give you a 4 thumbs up. In the end, the usb device has to be pushed hard into it's port. I am not sure what is on the cd that comes with but once I changed the batteries that came with the keyboard to new ones and pushed the usb hard into the port, everything works. thanks for the link to the manufacture's site. My keyboard and mouse are microsoft, But, I think they all sync the same, Look on the bottom of the mouse and the keyboard, you should find a small button, one on the reciever also, these need to be pushed in a certain sequence, Mine is the keyboard first, then the reciever, watch the active light on the reciever, it should flash a few times then stay on, then it's synced, Do the same with the mouse, Your's could be different though, it could be mouse first. One more thing they need to be less than a couple feet apart when you do this. so that's it Good luck. Bob

sounds like you need to resync the mouse to the wireless reciever. if this doesn't work than try replacing the batteries.

Cannot connect wireless keyboard and mouse

I am assuming that this is an INFRA-RED device, with
plug and play capability.

1) Make sure that the infra-red port is turned ON on your PC,
in the BIOS and in Windows (using control panel)

2) Make sure that the infrared driver is working:

My Computer ==> Right Click ==> Properties ==>
Hardware ==> Device manager ==> ....

Find the Infra-red device and check its status.

Some laptops have a mechanical switch witch controls all
wireless ports. If you shut-off the Wi-Fi, the blue-tooth and
the infra-red will also be disabled.

3) Check for tiny reset buttons on the keyboard, mouse and
the receiver. Press them repeatedly.

4) If the device is communicating, and infra-red ICON
should appear on you taskbar (RHS).

Right click the icon and make sure you enable IR
communications AND plug and play.

5) Make sure you have installed any drivers that came with
the keyboard, if any.

6) Again, make sure that infra-red communications are enabled
in the control panel.

5) Failing that, it is possible that the keyboard is defective,
or the infra-red port on your laptop is NFG, it would not
be the first time.

6) You may want to take your keyboard to a computer
shop, and ask the staff the try it with a different PC.

Alternately, try a different keyboard with the laptop.

Belkin Wireless Mouse

Today I tried pressing the reset button on the bottom of the mouse, and at the same time pressed the button on the top of the remote reciever. I'd pressed both in the past, but never at the same time. This seems to have fixed this problem. I hope it's a solution for others also.
