It's showing you 1E-4, isn't it? That means 1 times 10 to the minus 4.

If the absolute value of a result is less than 10^-3, as in this case, the calculator will always display it in scientific (or engineering) notation, with a mantissa and an exponent of ten. This is the way the calculator works.

The calculator does not show decimal when square rooting non-prime numbers. (fx-CG20)

You should feel happy that your calculator can perform some exact calculations. If you do not want the exact values you can press the SD key. You can also press SHIFT EXE rather than EXE alone.

How to round up decimal to 2 decimal

I don't think the calculator has that function, but what you can do is round on your own. If the decimal .005 or greater, you'd round it up to .01. Simple as that!
Hope this helped.

Decimals wont show

You need to change the display format.
Press the [MODE] key a certain number of times until the screen displays Fix, Sci, Norm on one line, and 1 2 3 on the next line, with 1 under Fix, 2 under Sci and 3 under Norm.

Press 1 (Fix) followed by a number (1,2,3, etc.) This second number will set the number of decimal digits. In other words, if you press 1 (Fix) 3 all your results will have 3 decimal digits. If you choose 0, your results will not show decimals.

Hope it helps.
Thank you for rating the solution.
