I went into "My Computer" and right clicked on the Sansa. I then chose reformat since I already had the files backed up. The Sansa was then reformatted and I was able to add music to my player.

I'm trying to put on some new music on the player but every time I check it to see if the music went on it says music already on the device. But I check the device and it is not on there?

You probably already know that it plays mp3 files but check anyway. In settings the USB mode has to be on MSC. That's really all I can tell you. Sorry if I wasn't any help.

Adding songs

When you sync, you are telling Windows Media player to make the player match what is currently in your sync list. So if you removed the first 110 from your Windows Media, that is why they disappeared from the player.

You don't need to use Windows Media player to add songs. Simply open Windows explorer, double-click your Sandisk device, double click the music folder, then drag and drop any files you want into the folder.

Sansa 250 - Having problems downloading music?

You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
