I dropped my instax 210 because the strap came undone. Now when I take pics, there is a part of the shot that remains white. Is something cracked inside? Should I just buy a new camera?

The same thing happened to me. Make sure that the mechanism arm on the inside that pushes the picture up is connected with the metal piece on the right hand side. The two can come loose allowing the metal piece to not bring the arm with it when you take a picture. Also the roller could have fallen down a bit. From the inside, press the roller up (it will click when it is in the right spot). The roller should be even all the way across and pushed all the way to the top of the camera.
