Most TV will allow manual entering of numbers on the remote.

if you have the remote try typing "03" thats Zero Three on the remote.

you might have it in video mode like vidoe one or s-video there different mode for a tv. check on the remote for source or TV/VIDEO button, to make sure the TV is in TV mode.

also on the TV itself there should be a menu button some TV have RESET option. look for that

or just goto the WEBSITE of the manufacture of the TV set im sure they have ONLINE manuals too.

Good Luck

SOURCE: Concierge series 25" wont stay on channel 3

If Im not mistaking , some of Zeniths TV sets cannot be unplugged or disconnected from the wall. It will delete the memory and I guess the default channel is Channel 52.. I didnt know you disconnect the set in the ? you asked before. To stop this simply plug the set into an always on wall receptical and turn on the cable then the TV set. your going to need to do this order of operations as I know Zeniths will detune and you wont get any color sometimes if you turn on the TV then the cable. Sorry nothing you can do short of getting another set. Good Luck

How do I put it on channel 3?

If you are asking about using a standard CRT Monitor with some device that has a Channel 3 TV output, you have to either have a tv tuner device between your monitor and the device you want to connect to, or find video outputs on the device other than the TV channel out in order to connect to a monitor. Monitors work with video signals. TV's work with radio signals. These two inputs are not the same thing. Channel 3 is a specific radio frequency signal that must be converted to video to be displayed by a TV. Computer monitors do not have the circuitry installed to convert radio frequency signals to video. Therefore, strictly speaking, there is no easy way to 'put' a CRT Monitor 'on channel three'.

How do you reset a Eaton Viking TV Channel is locked on number 2 want to change it to Channel 3 on mode number 5448-14CR

Try to direct enter channel three (03 enter) to get to that channel--if that works go into menu and find where to add the channel into the set memory.

Also can try in the customer menu to "Auto-program" which should restore ALL CHANNELS AVAILABLE to memory.

XBox wont work on it? Its hooked to the Av in/output but it wont pick up on channel 3 or 4 I dont have a remote.

To work on channel 3 or 4, you need a RF modulator from AV component input. Otherwise just select the AV input on your TV to use it(Xbox).

WHY DO I HAVE TO PUT MY TV ON CHANNEL THREE TO WHATCH A MOVIE

Both previous solutions are correct, but there may be another step. Sometimes the switches are hard to see because they are small and hide near the antenna in and out jacks. But some newer VCR's don't have a selector switch at all. To choose between channel 3 and channel 4 output, you need to use the VCR's setup menu. So if you can't find a switch like the other posters mentioned, check the VCR setup menu for an output channel selection. Then, as previously mentioned, make sure that the VCR output channel is added to your TV's channel lineup.

If you find a solution not exactly what you need, or not clear enough, please post a followup before giving negative ratings (thanks for trying or not appropriate). While those of us who take time to answer questions and try to help here don't get paid, we are more likely to be taken seriously if our ratings stay up. At the very least, both of the previous solutions should have been ranked helpful, because they are correct and should have given you the advice you needed.

Oh, one last thing: In posting, using all capital letters makes it hard to read, and is the equivalent of shouting. Please turn off the caps lock key. Thanks!

After auto channel set up, how do you get to Channel 3 for DVD?

Try pushing "03" on the remote. You can also edit the channel list manually, and add or delete any station you desire if the autoprogram does not work right. You really want to connect the DVD to the audio/video inputs (Does it even have an output that connects to the tuner?) anyway. Most DVD players, unless they also contain a VHS player, don't work the way you seem to think they do! Even if you have a machine that works through the tuner, you won't get the best picture or stereo sound unless you use your TV's A/V (or "Line In") plugs with a three section cable having three RCA plugs on each end, NOT the screw-on cable TV or antenna type connectors (RG-59) on a SINGLE very stiff coaxial cable. I am as confused by your question as you are! I don't suggest trying to brush your teeth with your TV either. :-)
