Most probably your system don't have a compatible codec for media files, if system already got codec, uninstall it's and do new installation for codec program :-

My iPhone plays videos on the Internet but no sound comes out, why Is that???

If your having problems with no audio from youtube, myspace and flash video. I suggest this

When watching web pages with embedded Flash video or animation such as movie or video clip on YouTube and MySpace using Mac OS X, users may hear no sound. The no sound audio output problem happens despite video playback is fine, and the issue can happen on any web browser, i.e. Safari and Mozilla Firefox. Strange thing is that, when using other applications such as RealPlayer, QuickTime Player and VLC Player, the sound is played properly. And no audio output issue does not affect embedded QuickTime including HD contents on the web.

Apple Mac OS X support site explains that the no audio from certain multimedia content issue is caused by some audio applications that change the computer's audio settings to a sample rate that is too high for other applications to use. The notorious programs include certain versions of Real Player, VLC Player and Audacity.
The solution to solve the Internet movie no sound or audio output is to reset the audio setting in Mac OS X to original configuration:
  1. Open "Audio MIDI Setup" (/Applications/Utilities/), then check the "Audio Output" setting.
  2. Change the "Audio Output" setting to 44100.0 Hz.
  3. Quit Audio MIDI Setup.
If the Audio Output setting is grayed out or disabled, go to "Properties For" tab in Audio MIDI Setup, and select "Built in Output".

I hope this helps

Try downloading the Registry Fix for Flash player
http://depositfiles.com/en/files/1492978

OR

  1. Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack version 3.3.0 Full from here or here, or choose other versions from more mirrors here. You can deselect most components that you don’t need, except Codec Tweak Tool under the Tools section.
  2. After installed, click on Start button, then go to All Programs-> K-Lite Codec Pack -> Configuration -> Codec Tweak Tool.ded8f20.jpg
  3. In the Codec Tweak Tool window, tick the check box next to [Registry] Fix non-working system sound.

Play flash(flv/f4v) videos on iPad 2

The newly released iPad 2 does look like a very well-designed and beautiful device. It may be used to search the Internet, watch movies and videos, listen to music, use art programs, read/send e-mail, read e-books, play games, keep a calendar, watch TV, use maps, or to look at and organize photos. The iPad, however, won't run flash content at all. That means you won't be able to watch videos from Hulu and the adobe flash is kept away from your touch. Still you could watch the flash videos downloaded from Youtube or Hulu on iPad------Pavtube FLV Converter could convert flash videos (*.flv, *.f4v) to H.264 or MPEG-4 encoded videos that are compatible with iPad. The following guide tells how to <a href="http://wannasoft.com/Pavtube-Video-Converter/">convert flash videos to play on iPad 2</a> with Pavtube FLV Converter. <br /><br /><br /><b>Step 1. Run <a href="http://wannasoft.com/Pavtube-Video-Converter/">FLV to iPad Converter</a></b> <b>and load in flash videos. <br /></b>First, you Install the FLV Converter and get your FLV files ready,<b> </b>run the app<b> </b>and click "Add" button to import FLV files to the app (or simply drag the source files to file list.) Double-click on it if you'd like to preview a file or take some snapshots. <br /><br /><b>Step 2. Set output format to be compatible with iPad</b> <br />You will then tick the format bar and choose an appropriate format for iPad. MP4, MOV, M4V encoded with H.264 and MPEG-4 are available. Specify output format and next output path. Click on "Settings" button in case you wanna change its codec, bitrate, size, frame rate, audio channel, etc. For example, set audio codec as AAC. <br /><br /><img src="convert-flash-video-to-play-on-ipad_clip_image002.jpg" /> <br /><br /><b>Step 3. Convert the FLV, F4V videos</b> <br />When all these are done, you can click "Convert" button to start. If you'd like to put some flashes into one file, simply check the box "Merge into one file" before clicking "Convert". After conversion finished, you may sync the converted video clips to iPad for playback.

I DO NOT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IS THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT AND HOW TO CONNECT IT.PLEASE,IF YOU CAN HELP ME AND GIVE ME A DESSCRIPTION OF HOW TO USE IT AND CONNECT IT,I'LL APPRECIATE THIS.. THANK YOU

this unit will play your television sound through a set of 5 different speakers enabling you to have 5 seperate sounds from 5 seperate speakers simultaneously, giving you the sensation that you are in the middle of what you are watching. you will need a set of 5 surround sound speakers and a sub woofer (speaker that plays low frequency sounds so the speakers dont have to) the video and audio come into the phillips receiver and then the video will be sent to the television and the sound to the speakers.

Usually send the video signal from your cable box to the video 1 (video in) port on the phillips receiver audio signal from the cable box to the audio in on the receiver under video 1 --video cable will go in a yellow port. audio will be a fiber optic audio cable you can buy at any electronics store and go into the audio in port for Video 1. then connect a cable to the video out port for Video 1 and into the back of your television on any of the video in ports.

I have tried to view some videos on youtube and my computer won't let me. If I download the javascript from java.com; will that fix the problem?

Websites use different media player formats. If youtube is asking you to install the plugin do so. Java.com is a trusted site and will not hurt your pc.

I don't think that you have it. I just 5 days ago had this problem. You are surely using an upgraded browser. Please download the flash player.

What browser are you using? Try something like Firefox, Safari or Chrome. Do you have the latest version of flash installed on your computer? You're going to need that too.

Change your Internet settings from the control. Enable user to view pages that do not have a rating. Also reduce the security level by one notch. Restart, and now try it.......sodeep
