Question about Epson Perfection V700 PHOTO Flatbed Scanner
Based upon this description. There are a series of "locking" mechanisms on this scanner. They are used to prevent damage during shipping. If this scanner happens to be new and never used; I would check the following:
The first lock is on the back "left" if you look at it from the front. Then, open the cover up; and you will see the other one, just like the picture.
