SOURCE: disengaging blades when mowing completed

the cam plate that the tensioner pulley is mounted on that rotates back around to tighten the belt as the cable or rod is engaged is likely rusted and worn, there is a bushing in this pivot that can be removed and cleaned fairly easily with a abrasive wheel or pad and lubricated upon reassembly.

Rideon was under flood idrain engine oil do i have drain gaer and biff oil as well. and what oil do i replace gear oil with.

Yes, you do have to drain the gearbox and diff as well, because the oil in them will also have water in it. For the gearbox, use SAE 90, Gear oil. The diff will use the same oil. Don't forget to clean or replace the spark plug, and clean the Carby.

Husqvarna CTH180XP rideon lawn mower 42" rear

Hi Sue and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. You have been quite lucky to get 7 years out of your battery. Given the age of the battery that is currently installed this is most likely your problem. You have voltage but very little amperage due to thinned out battery plates.... (
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

When i squeeze my auger control, my snow thrower makes loud noise and kills my engine. what kind of problems do i have?

Hi
First check the belts that they didn't run off the pulleys and get jamed. Check the idler/tightner pulley see if it spins freely. Check that nothing is jammed in auger. Try to turn auger pulley by hand if it does not turn or is noisey you have a problem in the gearbox.
