You will not unlock it without a code. You need to contact Kenwood directly: 1-800-KENWOOD (536-9663)

You can enter a 4-digit security code which must be used when the unit is removed from the vehicle, or the constant power source is disconnected from the unit. When constant power is restored to the unit, the security code must be entered before the unit becomes operational.
If the code is lost or forgotten I am afraid the unit has to be re-coded by a Kenwood dealer.

if you lost battery power the head unit thinks its been removed or tampered with. You should have a code that came with the manual that you have to type in to unlock it.

you must leave your radio in power on for an hour just to clear the wait, after that only you are able to reenter your code. make sure do not power off the radio, or else every time you power on you still have to wait for an hour to clear it.

We always used to use the remote to enter the code and the unit would reset. Without the remote, dont think it works, sorry man. Go to a Kenwood installer and they will probably be able to help you will you wait. I would, if you are in Greenbank QLD Australia. :
