Question about GE JVM1090WW Microwave Oven
Check your thermal fuse. If the fuse is good then replace your heating element. There is a wire inside the element which is covered with ceramic and coated in a non conductive metal. This wire will burn out like a light bulb and need to be replaced.

There is a thermo on the conv that may be stopping the heat . or it the element . you need to ck the wiring for any brakes and the themo and the element . this is best done by a tech but if you are ok with electronic things then go for it . .. mm hope this helps feed back pls ..

So this is acting like a temperature sensor and it seem that is giving wrong indication to the control panel and switch off the heater at wrong temperature.
So you should replace the thermister.
