I put the disk in and does not play it a comes back out

Very common problem with JVC radios, its a factory defect, I would just have it swapped for another unit if you have the receipt, if not then have the cd head replaced.

Good luck,

Head unit wiring

sensible thing to do if you really want to use the factory wiring is to go to the local scrap yard and find a vehicle similar to yours and go cut the wiring harness off one of theirs and reconnect yours all nice and good- then just get the wiring adapter for your vehicle at your local stereo shop and wire away-hope that helps

CD magazine trapped in Ford CD changer, no power to release

there is a way to get it working with the ford radio as long as the ford radio is cd changer compatible. You can purchase an adaptor from a dealer of autoleads. They also have a website. http://www.autoleads.co.uk/ were you can find out if its compatible and what lead you need. As far as i can remember with the jvc changers there is a seperate lead for power for a changer which you have to earth to the body of the car aswell have you got this

Factory CD changer connecting to after market radio

Most likely, not. If the CD changer is a JVC, some car manufactures use name brand components, then you should be able to find an adapter. 99% of the time it has to be JVC to JVC, Sony to Sony, etc. I came across a similar situation and decided to use a head unit with a USB input, now I have thousands of songs on a USB mem. stick and no longer need the CD changer and gained some extra room in the back of the vehicle.
Hope this helps ya.

Hi , I just brought a KD-G646 head unit and it wont play cd's at all. The radio works fine, but the usb only works if the unit is turned down. Could i have something wired wrong or is the unit faulty. It...

well, the USB problem i cant help you with, but if the cd isnt loading, theres probably something wrong with the loading mechanism, which usually means that the unit is faulty. it would be more cost efficient to buy a new head unit than to pay someone for the parts and labor to repair the one you have.
