Your internal sound card is damaged. you can purchase and try a Sound card appropriate for your PC from the market and use it. In case the PC is under warranty, you can contact service center for free repair.

I would suggest you check your device manager and check whether the sound card is detected there before looking at the hardware

Go to Start, Control Panel, System, Device Manager. If there any items with a yellow question mark or exclamation mark, there is an issue with the driver. Double click on the device, select the "driver" tab and then try and reinstall them. If there is no items that are like this, then check whether you can see a group under "Sound and Audio Devices". If there is, expand and reinstall the Audio Device from the manufacturer's cd/ website

    Hope that helps

Remove all USB attached devices like drives.

You may need to roll back system with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode).
Win 7 - Start > Start > Search type System Restore.
XP - Is Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates.

Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.

To eliminate possible bad RAM. Unplug PC, open case, and remove all RAM. Test one DIMM at time, one slot at a time.
Re-install Windows. Clean install works best, but all data will be lost.

Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

No driver

Hi there,
Remove it and install it into another computer as a slave to see what'll happen.
If it shows up in 'my computer' as a drive letter(like E: drive) but you can't access it,you can recover data on it with data recovery program to avoid losing them.
I have succeed with Tenorshare data recovery. It can recover data after deeply scanning your hard drive to look for lost data due to drives crash and 'not recognized' issue. You can get it here: http://www.any-data-recovery.com/index.htm
After you recover your data, you can format it to check out whether it can be fixed.
If the hard drive can't be detected, you can try this way.Put it in a zip-lock bag and put it in the freezer overnight. Then while it's still cold plug it into the computer and you may be able to view it in 'my computer'. And run the recovery program to recover your data on it.
If it fails, you will have to go to a recovery office but let's hope not because it will cost you a lot of money and whether they can recover data is not guaranteed.
This article will help.

Setting the Alarm 1 for AM/FM Radio
1. Press and hold the 2 Radio Alarm 1 Button. The display will flash and the Radio Alarm Indicator will appear. If
you do not begin setting the time within ten seconds of pressing the button, the display will stop flashing and you will
need to press the 2 Radio Alarm 1 Button again.
2. While the display flashes, press the 1 Reverse and 6 Forward Buttons to set the wake time. Hold a button for a few
seconds to set the time rapidly. Be sure to set the correct AM/PM time, as shown by the PM Indicator.
3. After setting the radio alarm time, while the display is still flashing you will need to select the station. First, press the
L Mode/DST Button to select a radio frequency. Next, select a station using the M Memory Set 1-6 Buttons. For
more information on programming radio stations into memory, see the Programming Radio Station Settings section of
this manual. Rotate the O Volume Thumbwheel to set the wake sound volume.
4. After setting the radio alarm wake time and sound, you will need to select the 7-5-2 setting. The 7-5-2 setting lets you
set the alarm for a full week, weekdays only, or the weekend. Before setting the alarm, be sure that the correct date
is set, as shown in the “Auto-Set” and Manual Time and Date Settings section of the manual. While the display is still
flashing, press the 9 Date/7-5-2 Button until the desired setting is shown.

4. See Note #4 in the Setting Alarm 1 section for instructions on setting the 7-5-2 alarm setting for Alarm 2.
