I'm looking for win 7 64bit driver for 3CRUSB10075 OfficeConnect 802.11g USB NIC 3Com web site dose'nt help much, any other ideas? Rodan

    There seem to be footnotes about the drivers serial numbers... be sure to double check this to find the right driver for you.

My win 7 os cannot recognized the crusb10075 3com adapter.


1. Don't plug your WLAN USB adapter until setup finish and reset the computer
2. Download XP driver from 3COM in below link... make sure to select the correct one depending on the serial number of your adapter (starting with 0100/0200/0300)

3. Double click and it will automatically unzip and may ask you again after unzip use recommend settings and click yes to use recommend settings and click yes to all to overwrite again the folder unzipped again but if didn't ask it is OK.
4. In the unzipped folder right click on the setup file and click properties then go to Compatibility tab. InCompatibility mode click "Run program in compatibility mode of" then chose Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and OK.
5. Click setup now and after installation finish restart your computer.
6. After reset plug you USB adapter and will take some time to install the driver.

I Couldn't find out it's driver


3 com NIC card is universal plug & play device.
Please restart the computer once you insert it.
If still persists, update the driver from

"C:\Windows\system32"

No win7 will not recognize the xp drivers.... you need to download the latest drivers for win7 from the 3com support site...

Security for 3CRUSB10075 802.11g/b Wireless


I did not solve the problem. I chose an easier way. I just replaced the 3Com Wireless Adapter with a NetGear USB adapter for which I have security instructions.

USB modem cable quandary


i am new too --may this trigger more people to help
from my limited experience

yes u need a NIC card in your pc

isp signal--->isp modem---->rj45 cable---->wireless (switch/access point/ Router--->NIC(PC)
---->wireless adapter (notebook)
----->wireless adapter(PC)

nowaday with a Gigabit Nic
u can match 802.11b 11mb/s
802.11g 54mb/s
802.11n 300mb/s
i use verizon at first with PPPoE
later Comcast cable dynamic
u need to go to web site ip address assigned by DHCPof your 3com wless router to make sure or/and clone the router so that it has same MAC addtress as your NIC of your PC before u can get CONNECTED with the Web----(u can see the green display on the upper right of the screen of the router page after u get connected) dl
