LG washer WD1412RD start pause switch faulty. Wont start.

The method we use on our LG WF 8071TTP top-loader:

Load stuff to be soaked.
Add soap.
Set load size and water inlets.
Start wash cycle.
Wait until water is full, and begins washing.
Press Start/Pause button.
Press Auto Stop button to switch machine off.

Next morning:
Press Auto Stop button to switch machine on.
Press Start/Pause button.
The fuzzy logic (if machine has this) will register that machine is full, and washing will continue.

Door Error. Replace door lock/switch

A tE error code on the display of the washer indicates a heating error, usually caused by a faulty thermistor.

1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet for 10 seconds.
2. Plug the washer back in and press the POWER button and then the SPIN SPEED button until No Spin is selected. Press the START/PAUSE button.
3. Once the washer has drained, restart the wash cycle.
4. If the tE error code appears again, close the water taps and unplug the washer. The washer will require repair service.

Door open error code can also be displayed as "dOE" On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the light for the door lock being lit or flashing.

• Check door is closed correctly and latched
• Check door handle for damage or wear
• Check door safety lock if inoperative replace door lock
• Check door lock wiring
• If there is a clicking sound once or twice when the Start/Pause button is pressed the main control board may be faulty

Press the SPIN SPEED and SOIL LEVEL buttons simultaneously to enter QC test mode and check the frequency of the water level, if the display shows 248 or more:
NO: Check the sensor switch assembly and also the pressure hose, replace either if faulty.
YES: Press the START/PAUSE button twice while in QC test mode and check whether the drum spins at low speed, this is normal.
If no reaction from the drum at all the the main PWB assembly board will need replacing.

Make sure that the front door is locked or that the door switch is contacting to give the feedback signal to the main circuit board. This is a safety feature of the washer because unless the front switch works - door shut-the washer will not work - no action on start/pause.
Replace if the switch is faulty.

Is there clicking sound once or twice when the

ASSEMBLY Connector and
MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY
(Red 4 pin and white 4 pin
connector (1)).
Is DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY broken?If Yes:Replace the DOOR
SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Press the START/PAUSE button and the displayed error code will disappear and the machine will go into pause status.

Power will be turned off automatically and the error code will blink if the error is not resolved within 20 seconds.

It is a door open error and usually caused by a faulty door switch assembly or broken door latch hook.

Make sure the door is firmly closed and avoid overloading the machine. Clothing may come between the door and cause the error.

i have found that the micro switch burns out on them and needs to be replaced. remove rear screws remove top cover , remove shield the unclip cables and front panel

Use a multi meter to test micro swicth on circuit board replace if faultsy
