You don't need any special software for this.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. But, despite what I said first, you can also use any photo cataloging program.

If you'd like software specifically for your camera, please respond to this post stating the make and model of your camera.

Can the Kodak easy share DX4330 shoftware be down loaded

Hi Angelo
Try this site for your software -> All Drivers Free No need to install programs or pay
Or the Kodak site shows how to load your photos to your PC without the need for software --> How to transfer pictures from camera to computer without EASYSHARE Software
With any downloads I'd recommend that you first confirm that your anti-virus & anti-malware software is up to date
Trust this helps, regards Alan

Cannot download images from camers to pc

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

File name/numbers are out of order when transferred to computer

Sometimes the number DSC is on your images and then if you use soft ware, it can change the image number .

So get a soft ware you can rename the images. Also be sure the camera is set in the custom to count continously.

I cannot transfer photos to my pc. I get a message that says the device that is plugged into the usb port isn't recognized by my pc.

If your camera uses memory cards get a cheap usb card reader. it's faster and less frustrating. The computer will see the reader as just another drive to open, no soft ware necessary.
