I purchased a used Hammond Organ Aurora, Model 700, 710 C125 but the previous owner did not have the manual for it. I am looking for a manual so I know how and what to do to play it. I don't know what...

Try the organforum . com. There are a lot of Hammond people there. The model 700 is the base model and probably enough to get you started.
Also just get a organ music book as a lot of the vernacular is in those. Also check your library for organ books. OFTEN the user manuals aren't much use to learn the instrument.

Most organs will either have tabs or drawbars. These select the type of "voice" and often one selects more than one as a mix. Each keyboard is refered to as a "Manual". Most organs have foot pedals. Each of the manuals and the foot pedals will have a seperate set of tabs associated with them.

To get started, turn on the organ and press the expression pedal which controls the volume... experiment setting a few tabs or drawbars an play notes on the manuals. You will soon learn what controls what.

Note that some models of Hammond organs used rotating tone wheels and those require lubrication. Those that do, usually have a power switch labelled "start" and "Run". These organs are usually higher value and one should have them serviced before using.

I have marshall 250 dfx when i turn it on cooling fan makes weird noise then plays 10 min. amp starts fading in & out

Try carefully cleaning your cooling fan with qtips for the blades and a vacuumn. See if that helps the fan. If not it will need to be replaced. If you are experienced with amp repairs have a look for loose parts on the circuit board. If you can safely disassemble it, look at the soldered side for bad solder joints. From another poster on here with the same problem I have learned that resoldering R107 and R96 helped. Make sure they aren't burned out or have changed in value. They are in the FDD circuit. Have a look at your owners manual and it will make sense. The schematic is available here:http://www.ampix.org/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pos=0 If it doesn't come up use the search function on that site. Do not attempt to service this yourself unless you are absolutely sure you won't hurt yourself or the amp.

If you can find the C-below-middle-C ?

Put your small finger on C,
your next finger on the next white key: D,
your middle finger on the next white key: E
your index finger on the next white key: F
your thumb on the next white key: G

Lift your fingers away from D and F -- to keep this simple -- all we did was identify the D and E and F and G keys, relative to the C key.

Press C and E and G (small, middle, thumb)
to play a "major" chord in C.

Move your fingers "up":
C to D, E to F-sharp, G to A,
and play a "major" chord in D.

Move your fingers "up":
D to D-sharp, F-sharp to G, and A to A-sharp,
and play the chord in D-sharp (usually called 'E-flat').

Move your fingers "up":
D-sharp to F, G to A, and A-sharp to C,
and play the chord in F.

Move your fingers "up",
F to G, A to B, and C to D,
and play the chord in G.

Go back to the starting position (C-E-G),
and move "down": C to B-flat, E to D, and G to F,
and play the chord in B-flat.

So far, you have C-major, D-major, E-flat-major, F-major, G-major, and B-flat-major.

There are more chords, but most pop-music is in one of these keys.

Give it a try.

A lot of left-hand stuff is just the small-finger and thumb, omitting the middle finger, e.g., C&G,
to avoid a too "muddy" sound.

Or, "stretch" your hand: C-and-G-and-the-next-higher-C.

I want to learn how to play my guitar. what

A good guitar teacher is a MUST !
Prices vary but around $25 per half hour seems average.

Join the school band if you are still in school.

There is a mass of learning stuff on the INTERNET and different people take to different methods so there is no fixed way to learn.

My son plugs his MP3 player into his amp as well and plays along using a
"play by ear method" He also has lessons and is in the school band.

Supportive parents are the biggest asset you can have. That support should extend into helping you find ways of earning that may suit you better than trying to read from a music book

A lot of people learn by playing TABS in which you learn basic notes quickly and pretty easily. Maybe take some different types of learning books from the library until you find one that works for you.
Hope this gives you the information you need
