Can you tell me the brand and exact model number of your computer? Is it a desktop, laptop, notebook, etc? Kindly provide more information to further isolate the problem.

Thank you!

You will need to press:

  • CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow (at the same time) - if the "Up" arrow doesn't work try the "down" arrow or left or right

I can't get the display to fill the whole screen area. Sideways is good but I have a 4cm wide black stripe across the top and bottom of the screen.

Connect it to a different computer, to see if that computer's video-card can "fill" the screen.

What is the "native" resolution of your monitor? 1280*1024, 1920*1080, 1400*1024 ?

What resolutions are supported by your computer's video-card?

Guide only takes up 2/3 of bottom of screen. Shouldn't it extend all the way across? say, 2/3 of BOTTOM of screen? Are you pressing the "guide" button on the remote or the "ok" button? Pressing the "ok" button gives you a mini-guide, only taking up top or bottom of screen, depending on what you prefer. As for it not extending across the screen (sideways/left to right?), you probably have the output resolution set to HD (720p or 1080i). That will cause the fullscreen menus to preserve their 4:3 aspect. The menus were not designed for widescreen resolutions. If your box is set to SD (and 4:3 override to 'stretch'), it would stretch it across the entire screen (assuming you have 16:9 TV).

My frogger is sideways!

Actually Yes, I had the same problem as well. But I was able to fix it by lowering the screen resolution on the Frogger video setup. Hope that helps, BTW have you figured out how to get the music working cause I haven't.

15" Dell monitor

You have your video card set to rotate the screen after Windows loads.

Go into your display properties using it's control panel and look for the rotate section. Set it back to 0 degrees. Make sure you click apply and then OK, not just OK.

I don't think this is a problem with the monitor itself, it looks more like a setting within your display driver and I'm not sure what video card you are using! However you can try this 1.)Right click on your desktop and click properties 2.)Click on the Settings Tab 3.)Look for and click on the advanced Button 4.)go through all the tabs on this dialog and look for something that says "Rotation" there should be a setting for Normal or something. Set it to normal and press ok/Apply! Hope this helps! regards, babb
