Bring it to a jewelry store that services watches. They should have an assortment of screws and should only be like $5, better than getting water inside the watch and killing it.

I buy watch in Macy's and after 5 monds my wach stop to work (work is not work stop- start stop-start) and also some stones is missing. I wos in Macy's and they say that not reason for return

that hated they should have replaced the battery for you at least. you can go to most pharmacies, jewelers, grocery stores, ace hardware or target and ask them if they could test your battery. Radio Shack for sure has the way to test your battery. as far as the stones falling out unless this was a high end watch, I would request to speak to a manager at Macy'y.
If it is a high end watch you might have a claim with your credit card company.. best of luck .. jay

Steel mesh on strap is ravelling and cannot wear it

Thank you for contacting FIxYa.
You will have to contact DKNY on this or take back to store you got. I dont know how long you have had it. Most watches warranties do NOT cover bands.
Contact at:
http://www.dkny.com/contact/
Best regards.

Your best bet is to contact DKNY to see if they can replace it for you. Other then that, I would try a local jeweler. Here is a link for the DKNY service center: http://www.dkny.com/contact/ Good luck!!

Hi, I have a few baguettes missing from my DKNY watch...how do I have them replaced? The watch is only 6 months since purchase. The number on back is 110709. Ta

First I would bring the problem to the attention of DKNY so they are aware of the problem, see if the missing stones are covered by any warranties or policies of DKNY. If they are not a reputable jeweler in your area should be able to match them at your expense. I Hope that DKNY sands behind this watch and repairs it to your satisfaction.
Good Luck To You!!

1 Answer

Replace the back of a dkny watch after replacing the battery,

For closing your caseback you need the man with very strong hands first, but it might not work as some casebacks can be closed using special tools only.
Before you visit the watchmaker, try this: first of all open your bracelet by taking out spring lug. This will make more space at the back. Then take watch caseback and check for groove in it. Align that groove with stem (pin going into watch movement) and deepen grooved caseback side as it should be. Then without turning caseback apply great pressure with both hands to the watch(from caseback and dial sides). If hands are strong enough, caseback should snap on into place.
In case if it doesn't work, find a piece of thick leather (wide mens belt will do) and place it on completely flat surface (table top). Place the watch face down on that leather, adjust caseback groove with stem again and try to press caseback down with both hands, only this time using your weight.
If all mentioned above doesn't work- you have to go to see watchmaker.

Good luck.
